Refusal to treat Proact objections as valid!

I have received the following from the local campaigners against the Edinbane wind farm:

"David,

Firstly I would like to thank you for submitting objections to the Edinbane Wind Farm on behalf of PROACT.

Unfortunately however, even though we sent a separate objection in for every name Highland Council decided to consider them as only 1 objection since they all came from the same address. The date for final submissions to the new data has been extended until 25th September."

After discussing this with them we decided to appeal for as many individuals as possible to register their objections by Monday, 25 September 2006.

A short objection letter, confined to the basis arguments against the siting of the wind farm, is provided below.

Thank you,

David Conlin, Proact
The Skye campaigners

Dear Mr Rennilson,

OBJECTION TO THE CONSTRUCTION OF A WINDFARM AT EDINBANE, ISLE OF SKYE - planning reference 02/00089/FULSL

2. The development has the potential to adversely affect the Cuillins Golden Eagle SPA

3. The site is on the migrating route of Whooper Swans

4. The site is used as a breeding ground for a local colony of Golden Plover

Sincerely
