It is a one of the Proact principles that we do not rat-tail onto other organisations' campaigns or add ourselves to chain letters. This would weaken our identity and lessen our impact and, so I believe, is not why our team members and friends worldwide join or support us.

There is a lot of valuable activity globally however at world, region or very local level which deserve support from all who want to have a stake in conserving what we can of our natural world. As Proact coordinator I receive a lot of unsolicited correspondence, as well as appeals from organisations of which I am personally a member (WWF, Greenpeace etc.,) or who have heard of PROACT.

This sub-site will be used to provide links to such campaigns or causes to which you can lend you personal support as you see fit. The inclusion of links on this site does not a general endorsement of any organisation or cause - simply a recognition that we are all on the same side with similar aims; if at times our methods and approach differ.
