Bird species which are permitted to be hunted in Italy
A list of those species which may be hunted in Italy according to Article 7 of the
Italian Hunting law in connection with Annex II 0f the European Bird Protection
Guidelines.
The hunting season extends from the 3rd Sunday in September to 31st
January of the following year. Several regions in Italy
have shortened the hunting season, none have extended it.
